I avoided Peter Schiff books for a while. Honestly, I wasn’t sure how much I liked the guy. In fact, I still don’t know if I like the guy but one thing is certain. He knows what he’s talking about. When you’re looking for real world advice on what to do with your money Peter Schiff is the guy to trust.
I’m not a big fan of predictions (because we only seem to notice the right ones not the wrong ones) but Schiff did get the 2008 economic crash right and wrote a book beforehand as proof. He’s predicting another. You only have so long to prepare for things like that. Get started today to minimize the potential damage by reading these two Peter Schiff books.
This book explains economics in simple terms that anyone can understand. It tells a number of anecdotes that are very funny while schooling you on some of the concepts behind economics. It then goes into how government getting involved just makes everything worse.
It’s a very unique way of learning economics but even those of us with a little experience will enjoy it. Keynes certainly wouldn’t like this one. Schiff goes into a number of different topics about how government is just setting America up for a crash.
#2 Crash Proof 2.0: How To Profit From The Economic Collapse
The original version of this book was released before the economic collapse happened in 2008. That should be pretty telling on either Peter Schiff’s luck or Peter Schiff’s skills. Too many books are being written with the logic being explained after the crash.
One thing that is particularly surprising is the mixture of confidence and modesty that written into every page. Schiff makes it clear when he doesn’t know something for sure. This book will make you change the way you invest your money.
Our leaders won’t prepare you for whats to come. They’re just digging the grave deeper and deeper. This is some financial advice that you shouldn’t go without.
Any Peter Schiff books that need to be added to this list? Let me know what you think.
